Hartford Middle School Architects/Engineers 2020 Sinking Fund Kalamazoo, Michigan Hartford Public Schools Hartford, Michigan NOTICE TO BIDDERS Sealed Bids for the 2020 Sinking Funds Project Middle School Restroom Remodeling Hartford Public Schools will be received by Hartford Public Schools, at the Office of the Superintendent, 115 School Street, Hartford, Michigan 49057, Tuesday, April 14, 2020 until 2:00 p.m., local time. Bids received after that time will be returned unopened. Bid will be opened publicly and read aloud at the office of the Superintendent. Bids shall be executed on Bid Form provided. Each proposal must be accompanied by a satisfactory certified check, money order, or bid bond payable to Hartford Public Schools for not less than five (5%) percent of the amount of the bid and delivered in a sealed envelope bearing the bidder’s name, address, and project identification. All bids submitted shall be from a prime bidder only and shall include all subcontractor costs for scopes identified in the contract documents. Owner is exempt from Michigan use and sales tax. This project does not require prevailing wages. Successful bidder(s) will be awarded by AIA A101-2017, Standard Form of Agreement Between Owner and Contractor, issued by the Owner following action by Hartford Public Schools at a meeting of the Board of Education. Hagar Township seeking applicants for Treasurer position The Hagar Township Board will accept an application to include a letter of interest and a resume to fill the vacant Treasurer position on the Township Board. This vacancy occurred with the resignation of Marlene Davis, who resigned effective March 31, 2020. The appointment will last until the term expires with the November 2020 General Election. The appointee must run in the 2020 General Election if he or she wishes to continue in office. The application must be received in the Hagar Township Hall, 3900 Riverside Road, Riverside MI.
