Hagar Township residents seek erosion prevention support

Three residents with properties located to the immediate north of Hagar Roadside Park have submitted applications to the Michigan Department of Environment, Great Lakes & Energy (EGLE) to install a new border wall along a stretch of shoreline measuring 200 feet to stop the erosion of their property. The application process includes a request from the Michigan Department of Environment, Great Lakes & Energy to Hagar Township to either support the request, seek to deny the request, or do nothing.
