
Kenneth Alan Wilson Sr., 90, of Hartford passed away Saturday, Nov. 5, 2022, at Caretel Inns of Lakeland.
Kenneth was born March 8, 1932, in Chicago, the son of Michael and Cecile (Brauch) Wilson, both of whom precede him in passing. Also preceding him in passing are a daughter, Shirley Haggard; seven grandchildren; two sisters, Ramona Petersen and Roberta Swisher; a brother, Ralph Wilson; former wife of 28 years, Audrey Swisher-Wilson; and a long-time friend, Margret McDonald.
Kenneth worked at Klett Asphalt and drove truck for Kopps Trucking, before retiring from Fisher Body (BOC) in Kalamazoo, after many years of faithful service.
Kenneth is survived by eight children: Kenneth Jr. (Penny) Wilson, Marvin (Pam) Wilson, Patty (Drew) Willis, Glenda (Neil) Edwards, Mark Wilson, Marlene (Jerry) Brown, Steven (Debby) Wilson and Cecil (Kelly) Wilson; 44 grandchildren; 79 great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Wanita Skipper and Dorothy Burgh.
The service to honor his memory was held at Calvin Funeral Home on Wednesday, Nov. 9, with Pastor Lonnie Carpenter officiating. Burial followed in Maple Hill Cemetery, Hartford. Those wishing to leave memorial condolences for the family may do so at http://www.calvin-leonardfh.com.
