Last week the House successfully passed the bipartisan Ukraine Democracy Defense Lend-Lease Act by a vote 417 to 10 with my support after it unanimously passed the Senate earlier this month. This act revives a World War II-era program that was first used to authorize the U.S. to quickly resupply the Allies to defeat Nazi Germany. The Lend-Lease program played a vital role in finally stopping Hitler and his Nazi regime after several years of bloody war and millions of lives lost.
