We should be working together toward real solutions

Last week, via executive order, Gov. Whitmer unilaterally created a new council—composed of members appointed by herself—to focus on population growth and development in Michigan. Just as we saw with her disastrous unilateral policies during the COVID crisis, Gov. Whitmer is again seeking to go-it-alone and usurp the Legislature—despite it being controlled by members of her own party for the first time in 40 years.
