On January 9, 2026, we recognized National Law Enforcement Appreciation Day. Law enforcement officers play a critical role in upholding law and order, protecting families, and ensuring that our neighborhoods remain safe places to live, work, and raise a family. These individuals deserve our gratitude—not to be the constant targets of politically motivated attacks or frivolous legal action designed to undermine their work.

As we turn the page on another year, Americans have a choice to make. We can continue down a path of bigger government, lower expectations, and endless excuses—or we can recommit ourselves to the values that built the greatest nation on earth. The New Year is a time for reflection, but it is also a time for resolve.
