While Whitmer travels the world, Michigan students fall behind
While Michigan families are working hard just to make ends meet, Gov. Whitmer just landed from another taxpayer-funded trip abroad. While she enjoyed the Olympics, our kids and their struggling schools were left falling further behind. It’s a pattern we’ve seen time and again with this governor: the world tour never ends, but the work back home never gets done.

Protecting your tax dollars
Recently, I sent a letter to U.S. Attorney General Pam Bondi requesting the Department of Justice review grant oversight and administration involving the Michigan Economic Development Corporation, Michigan Department of Health and Human Services, and Michigan Department of Labor and Economic Opportunity, along with Dearborn-based nonprofits ACCESS Michigan and the National Association of Yemeni Americans.

Protecting our elections
President Trump is 100% right — Michigan voters cannot trust Jocelyn Benson to run our elections fairly. That’s why I joined 21 Republican legislators last November in requesting the U.S. Department of Justice oversee Michigan’s 2026 primary and general elections. With Benson simultaneously serving as the state’s chief elections official and running for governor, the conflict of interest is inherent and unavoidable.
