At the Watervliet Public Schools Board of Education monthly business meeting on Monday, Feb. 9, varsity baseball coach, Josh Tremblay presented the board with a request for an annual Spring Break trip to Florida. This is the fifth year going on this trip. He believes it is a huge part of the success of the team. In the past, it has provided great team bonding, along with getting to know the families.

Coloma City held their second regular bi-monthly commission meeting on Monday, December 22 with a small audience of visitors. A quick roll call by City Clerk Kelly Clements revealed all board members were in attendance except for one commissioner. Commissioner Cynthia Massey led the Pledge of Allegiance. Commissioner Julie Smith made a motion to approve the agenda for the night’s meeting.
