NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
FOR MICHIGAN COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT (CDBG FUNDING FOR LINDEN/CLARK/WENDELL INFRASTRUCTURE IMPROVEMENT PROJECT.
The City of Hartford will conduct a public Hearing on January 20,2020 at 7:30p.m. City Hall Commission Room, 19 West Main Street, Hartford, MI 49057, for the purpose of affording citizens an opportunity to examine and submit comments on the proposed application for a CDBG grant.
The City of Hartford proposes to request $2,000,000.00 in CDBG funds to be used for full roadway reconstruction and underground utility upgrade and replacement on E. Linden Street and Clark Street from Spaulding Street to Olds Avenue and on Wendell Avenue from Oak Street to East Main Street, along with $390,000.00 in local funds to benefit at least 51% low to moderate income persons. No person will be displaced as a result of the proposed activities.
A copy of City of Hartford’s Community Development Plan and the CDBG Application is available for review. To inspect documents, please contact Yemi Akinwale, City of Hartford Manager by phone or email: citymanager@cityofhartfordmi.org. Comments may be submitted in writing through January 20,2020 or made in person at the public hearing.
Citizen views and comments on the proposed application are welcome.
