Winterfest has been celebrated all this week at Hartford High School with each day having a dress up theme. The Winterfest basketball game will be played in the HHS gymnasium Friday, Feb. 14 versus Mendon. Varsity girls play at 6 p.m. and the boys game is at 7:30. All candidates will be announced during halftime of the game.

This year’s overall theme is Musicals and the class themes are: Seniors – Mean Girls; Juniors – Grease; Sophomores – High School Musical; Freshmen – Teen Beach Movie. A Pep Assembly will be held Friday, during 7th hour. All high school students will gather in the gymnasium to announce the winter sports teams and to pump each other up for the big game. Classes will compete against each other in a variety of games to win points toward winning Winterfest.
Blossomtime Pageant Tickets on sale Feb. 24; premium seating offered
The Blossomtime Festival is excited to announce that the 2020 Miss Blossomtime and Mr. Blossomtime Pageant Tickets will be open for public sale beginning Monday, Feb. 24 at 9 a.m. New this year, get up close to the action with premium seats! Limited Premier Seating tickets will be available for both Sunday and Monday night pageants. This year’s theme, “Blossomtime Presents The Greatest Show” has inspired two wonderful evenings of entertainment, music, and glamour. The Mr. Blossomtime and Showcase of Queens Pageant is Sunday evening, March 15 at 6:30 p.m. and tickets are $20.00. The Miss Blossomtime Pageant is the following evening on Monday, March 16 at 7:00 p.m. and tickets are $20.00. Limited Premier Seating tickets are available for both nights for $35 each and the Program price will be $5.00. The pageants, both nights, are held at the Mendel Center Mainstage and are guaranteed to be wonderful evenings full of talented young ladies and gentlemen, and the coronation of the 2020 Blossomtime Royalty.
