Default has occurred in the conditions of a mortgage made by Susan G. Niven Revocable Trust located at P.O. Box 39, Lockport, Illinois 60441 (the “Mortgagor) in favor of Michael P. Balking (the “Original Mortgagee”) dated October 19, 2015, and recorded on October 20, 2015 at Liber 3118, Pages 0801-0804 of Berrien County Records (the “Mortgage”).

The amount claimed to be due on said Mortgage and unpaid as of the date of this Notice is One Hundred Thirty-Four Thousand  Nine Hundred Sixty-six dollars and 67/1000 ($134,966.67), including interest on the applicable indebtedness at the default rate of 9.00% per annum. together with all existing or subsequently erected or affixed buildings, improvements, and fixtures: all easements, rights of way, streets, roads, alleys, and public places, privileges, and appurtenances, public or private, now or later used in connection with the property; and all rights to make divisions of the land that are exempt from the platting requirements of all applicable land division or platting acts, as amended from time to time.

Attention Purchasers: the Foreclosing Mortgagee reserves the right to cancel the sale prior to sale or to rescind the sale at any time. In the event of cancellation or rescission, your damages, if any, will be limited solely to the return of the bid amount tendered at the sale, plus interest.

If the mortgaged property is sold at foreclosure sale under Chapter 32 of the Revised Judicature Act of 1961, pursuant to MCL 600.3278, the borrower will be held responsible to the person who buys the property at the mortgage foreclosure sale or to the mortgage holder for damaging the property during the redemption period.

COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT (CDBG) FOR

THE MARIONAVENUE&PROSPECT STREET IMPROVEMENT PROJECT

The City of Hartford will conduct a public Hearing on March 27, 2017 at 7:30p.m., at the City Hall, 19 West Main Street, Hartford, MI for the purpose of affording citizens an opportunity to examine and submit comments on the proposed application for a CDBG grant.

The City of Hartford proposes to request $1,214,100.00 in CDBG funds to improve Marion Avenue & Prospect Street, along with other local and private activities and funding, including $134,900.00 to benefit LMI persons and benefit at least 51% low to moderate income persons. No person will be displaced as a result of the proposed activities.

Further information, including a copy of Hartford’s Community Development Plan and CDBG application is available for review. To inspect the documents, please contact Yemi Akinwale at 269-621-2477 or to review at City Hall. Comments may be submitted in writing through March 28, 2017 or made in person at the public hearing.
