THIS “KUTE KID” is… Amiyah Speck, 4-year-old daughter of Jasmine Miller from Watervliet and James Speck from Coloma. Share a photo of your “Kute Kids” with your friends, neighbors, and relatives who read the Tri-City Record. Make sure you write your kids’ names on the back of the picture and include any other information about it you would like to see in the paper, including mom and dad, grandma and grandpa, and so on. Send the “original” photo to the Tri-City Record, P.O. Box 7, Watervliet, MI 49098 or email it with your information to record@tricityrecord.com. Pick up your photo after it appears in the paper or include a stamped, self-addressed envelope and we will mail it back to you. Where are your “Kute Kids”?

The “Responsibility” awards include (from the left): Melany Cervantes (2nd Grader in Mrs. Dobb’s classroom); Madison Morse (1st Grader in Mrs. Collis’ classroom); Jenna Bartee (Kindergarten student in Mrs. Lanham’s classroom); Ryli Allen (Kindergarten student in Mrs. Trapp’s classroom); Allyson Casiano (Young 5 student in Mrs. Wendt’s classroom). WATERVLIET HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS OF THE MONTH… for February are (from the left): Freshman Ruth Aguilera, Sophomore Tekoa Marshall, Junior Klye McConnell, Senior Ryan Chisek. Students from each grade level are chosen by the staff each month. Students may be chosen for grades, attitude, performance, improvements made, being leaders in the class, or for helping others. Selected students receive certificates and recognition in school and in the Tri-City Record newspaper. Congratulations to these students for being chosen Students of the Month!
