NOTICE OF ORDINANCE ADOPTION

TO THE RESIDENTS AND PROPERTY OWNERS OF WATERVLIET CHARTER TOWNSHIP, BERRIEN COUNTY, MICHIGAN AND ALL OTHER INTERESTED PERSONS:

PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that on April 17, 2017, at a regular meeting of the Watervliet Charter Township Board, and following a second reading, the Board unanimously adopted Zoning Amendment Ordinance No. 01-2017 which rezones property in the Township from C-Commercial to R1-B Residential.  A true and complete copy of the ordinance appears below.

WATERVLIET CHARTER TOWNSHIP ZONING AMENDMENT ORDINANCE NO. 01-2017.

The Charter Township of Watervliet ordains:

PURPOSE:

An ordinance to amend the Township Zoning Ordinance No. 77 and Official Zoning Map, Article I, by the rezoning of land in the Charter Township of Watervliet and to repeal all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict therewith.

SECTION I: REZONING OF LAND FROM C-COMMERCIAL TO R1-B RESIDENTIAL.

The Watervliet Charter Township Zoning Ordinance No. 77 and Official Zoning Map are hereby amended by the rezoning of parcels 11-21-0027-0009-00-7 (4068 Case Ct.) and parcel 11-21-0027-0009-03-1 (4046 Case Ct.) from the current zoning of C-Commercial to R1-B Residential.

SECTION II: REPEAL OF CONFLICTING ORDINANCES AND EFFECTIVE DATE.

All ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are repealed.  This ordinance shall take effect eight (8) days following publication of notice of its adoption in accordance with and subject to Michigan Public Act 110 of 2006.
