“Kute Kids”… THIS “KUTE KID” is… Kyle Robbins, 8 years old, making a silly face at Curious Kids Discovery Zone. He is the son of Brent & Jennifer Robbins from Benton Harbor. He amuses is grandparents, John & Marilyn Robbins of Benton Harbor and Mark & Marianne Dine of St. Joseph. Share a photo of your “Kute Kids” with your friends, neighbors, and relatives who read the Tri-City Record. Make sure you write your kids’ names on the back of the picture and include any other information about it you would like to see in the paper, including mom and dad, grandma and grandpa, and so on. WATERVLIET SOUTH SCHOOL CHARACTER AWARDS… At South Elementary they are working on putting their South School pledge into action each day. For March they focused on learning about being responsible. The “Responsibility” awards include (from the left): Katelyn Brown (2nd Grader in Mrs. Iliff’s classroom); Layla Klimkiewicz (1st Grader in Mrs. Muth’s classroom); Braidyn Dawson (Kindergarten student in Mrs. Schmidt’s classroom); Noah Hutchins (Kindergarten student in Mrs. Smith’s classroom); Adilene Cardozo (Young 5 student in Mrs. Tag’s classroom). Free seminar to discuss treatment for flat feet

Community members are invited to join foot and ankle specialist, James Maskill, DPM, for a free educational seminar titled, “Flat Feet? Lift Your Sole.” The seminar will be held from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 8 at Lakeland Medical Center, located at 1234 Napier Avenue in St. Joseph. During the seminar, Dr. Maskill will discuss various treatment options for flat feet including stretching tips, physical therapy, orthotics, surgical options, and more. “If it hurts on the side of your ankle, flat feet or ‘fallen arches’ could be causing your pain,” said Dr. Maskill. “Ignoring this could lead to other issues.” Preregistration is encouraged; walk-ins are welcome.
