Lake Michigan College Commencement Ceremony  awarded degrees and certificates to local graduates

Lake Michigan College hosted its 71st Annual Commencement Ceremony at The Mendel Center on Sunday, May 6. The ceremony includes students who graduated in Summer 2017, Fall 2017 and Spring 2018 semesters. Michigan Activity Pass available to Hartford Public Library cardholders

Hartford Public Library cardholders can get free or discounted access to hundreds of Michigan’s state parks, historic sites, cultural attractions, campgrounds and recreational areas through the Michigan Activity Pass program, sponsored by Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan, the Michigan Department of Natural Resources, the Michigan Recreation and Park Association and the Library Network. Beginning May 24, Hartford library cardholders can print a free one-day pass, either at home or at the library, which can be used at any of Michigan’s 102 state parks or 138 state forest campgrounds. The program also offers free or discounted admission to 170 historical and cultural destinations in Michigan. The Michigan Activity Pass is a great way to encourage library patrons to get out and enjoy the natural beauty the Great Lakes State has to offer.
