MISS WATERVLIET AND HER COURT were the stars of the ball field on the Watervliet community float entitled “Rolling out the Red Carpet for Hays Park.” Featured on the float were Miss Watervliet Ellie Troyer, First Runner-up Livia Boughner, Second Runner-up Zoe Smith, Miss Congeniality Courtney Little, Miss Firecracker 2017 Amiah Apreza, and Mr. Firecracker 2017 Jackson Halamka. COMMUNITY OF COLOMA FLOAT “Rolling out the Red Carpet Glad-Peach Style” showed parade goers about this long-time festival hosted in Coloma on the first weekend in August. The float featured the following royalty: Mr. Coloma Derek Plitt and his court, First Runner-up Robbie Schroeder, Second Runner-up Ryley Watson, and Mr. Nice Guy Adam Hearn; the court of Miss Coloma including First Runner-up Samantha Fischer, Second Runner-up Macayla Rodgers, and Miss Congeniality Mallory Spaulding; Future Mr. and Miss Coloma royalty included Miss Teen Chloe Williams and her First Runner-up Lilly Trapp, Teen Sweetie Allie Pleyer, and Glad Princess Lainie White. Those riding the float included: Mr. Blossomtime Garrett Brandt of Hartford, Miss Blossomtime Riley Ellis of Stevensville, First Runner-up to Mr. Blossomtime D’Myron Guidry of Benton Harbor, First Runner-up to Miss Blossomtime Jamie Tidey of Eau Claire/Sodus, Second Runner-up to Mr. Blossomtime Daniel Okonski of St. Joseph, Second Runner-up to Miss Blossomtime Micah Saxe of Coloma, Mr. Nice Guy Benjamin O’Donnell of New Buffalo, and Miss Congeniality (and Miss Spirit) Olivia Ziemer of Hartford.
