W-A-Y Watervliet High School April Students of the Month
Cali Doty has been selected as one of the April students of the month. Cali joined the program in the summer of 2016 as a junior and in a few months quickly elevated herself to senior status.
She has earned almost 1 credit in the month of April alone. That is amazing!
Cali is the daughter of Rebecca Green. Cali enjoys spending time with family and friends. In her free time she likes playing with her dog and pool and darts with her boyfriend.
After she graduates from the W-A-Y program, she would like to move somewhere with a warmer climate. Her career plans are to study either nursing or to become a veterinarian.
Jeff Priebe has been selected as one of the April students of the month. Jeff joined the program in the winter of 2017 needing only about 3 credits and has recently satisfied those requirements qualifying for the May 18 graduation.
He has earned 1.53 credits in the month of April. He earned 1.03 in the last week alone. That is amazing!
Jeff is the son of Jeff Priebe and Kim Small. Jeff enjoys fishing, snowboarding, traveling, riding dirt bikes, math, building things, hunting and exercising.
After he graduates from the W-A-Y program, he plans on attending Lake Michigan College and would like to do something that involves math and building things like a woodshed or running a CNC machine.
Erika Gunn has been selected as one of the April students of the month. Erika joined the program as a true freshman, and since that time, has worked steadily towards her credit requirements. She is really working hard and has recently surged with credit attainment. April alone saw her earn 1.85 credits. That is awesome!
After high school, Erika plans on going anywhere life takes her but does plan on attending a college or university to major in philosophy and art.
