“Kute Kids”… THIS “KUTE KID” is… a 4-year-old Notre Dame fan from Coloma. His name is Trent Teal and he is the son of Lindsey Hug and Trenten Teal. Little Trent’s grandparents are Penelope and Brian Hug of Watervliet.
Share a photo of your “Kute Kids” with your friends, neighbors, and relatives who read the Tri-City Record. Make sure you write your kids’ names on the back of the picture and include any other information about it you would like to see in the paper, including mom and dad, grandma and grandpa, and so on. WATERVLIET NORTH SCHOOL ROCK STARS… Third graders pictured (from the left): Kelsie Gaston from Miss Romeo’s class is sweet and kind to everyone!! She is pleasant and always has her work done on time. She tries very hard to do her best. Kari Jaggers from Mrs. Bohle’s class is sweet, caring, and respectful to everyone. She always buckles down to get her work done, and tries her best at all times! When her work is finished, she enjoys helping others in any way that she can! Yami Marin-Zamarripa from Miss Romeo’s class tries very hard! She has really come a long way in being responsible for turning in all of her work on time. She is always willing to stay in and help in her room. She is kind to others. Abby Daniels from Mrs. Brown’s class is a hard worker with a very kind and helpful nature. She is a joy to watch learn because she is fearless in tackling new topics! Every day, every lesson, she works hard and does her best! She is a very caring friend to all, quick to recognize someone that may need a helping hand. Great job to all Rock Stars! Watervliet 40 Year Club announces all class reunion date for 2018
The date for this year’s meeting of the Watervliet Public Schools 40 Year Club is Saturday, August 18, 2018. The location will be the Watervliet Middle School, 450 East St. Joseph Street, Watervliet. Social hour begins at 11:00 a.m., with lunch being served at noon. Anyone that graduated from, or attended the Watervliet Public School system is welcome to attend. Former school employees are welcome also. Besides the social hour and lunch, tours will be available for the Middle and High School buildings and grounds. Reservations are $15 per person, and are due by Friday, August 3, 2018. WATERVLIET NORTH SCHOOL ROCK STARS… Grayson Richards (left), a 5th grade student in Mrs. Laws’ class is an incredibly kind and thoughtful classmate. He is always willing to help. Grayson is definitely a strong leader in his classroom! Natalie VanLente (right), a 5th grade student in Mrs. Bongiorno’s class is an amazing young lady. She is always volunteering to help around the classroom and at school. She patiently helps others when in need. Natalie is a great role model to the students at North Elementary!
