Watervliet 15th annual 4th of July Car Show

The annual car show, held during the Watervliet Independence Weekend Celebration will be at Arclight Brewery on Saturday, June 30 from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. It is the 15th annual event and one hundred percent of the $5 registration fee goes to the Battle Creek Veterans Administration Hospital to support our veterans. The show is open to all antique, classic, modified or special interest cars, trucks, and motorcycles. There will be dash plaques, door prizes and awards. The organizers extend a special thank you to supporters, Dr. David Moss Chiropractic, Auto Value Parts Stores, Broadwater Maxi Muffler and LeRoy’s Body Shop. Dr. Allison O’Neill joins staff at Wil-O-Paw Animal Hospital

Wil-O-Paw Animal Hospital is proud to announce the addition of Dr. Allison O’Neill to their veterinary staff effective June 4. Owners, Drs. Alan and Christy Stockdale are excited to have Dr. O’Neill join them and Dr. Kim Case in continuing to provide great animal care to pets and clients in our area. “We’re thrilled to have Dr. O’Neill join our staff,” said Dr. Alan Stockdale. “She brings exceptional veterinary knowledge and a genuine enthusiasm and love for animal care to our practice.”

Dr. O’Neill graduated from Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine in 2015 and joined Animal Care Center in St. Joseph in 2016. Since their closure in March, she has been looking for the right opportunity to continue to serve her former Animal Care Center clients while expanding her veterinary skills. “I wanted to work at a practice that has great medical technology,” said Dr. O’Neill. “Wil-O-Paw has all the right tools to offer clients and pets the best medicine but still has a great community and family atmosphere.” Wil-O-Paw Animal Hospital offers comprehensive veterinary care for the total well-being of your pets including a wide range of diagnostic, therapeutic, preventative, emergency and surgical services. BIRTHDAY CELEBRATION… Ardis Schultz turned 100 years old on May 29. A surprise party was held for Ardis on her birthday at Riverside United Methodist Church. Ardis is a lifelong resident of Riverside, Hagar Shore area and is a member of Riverside United Methodist Church. She presently resides at The Willows on Niles Avenue in St. Joseph.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY… Grandma Delores Sadler of Watervliet is celebrated for her 75th birthday with love by Maghan, Austin and Krystal, and all the great-grandkids Mackenzie, Maddox, Maxton, Myles and Margaret.
