LMC students earn spots on Spring 2018 President’s and Dean’s lists Lake Michigan College has announced the names of students recognized for academic achievement during the spring 2018 semester. C.H.S. Class of 1963 to hold 55-year reunion The Coloma High School Class of 1963 will hold its 55 year class reunion Saturday, August 18 upstairs in the banquet room at The Friendly Tavern in beautiful downtown Coloma. Please arrive promptly at 4:00 p.m. for a professional group photo that will be available for a cost of $21.00 which includes mailing and postage. The reunion will begin immediately afterward for an evening of renewed friendship. The specialized menu choices require a pre-order to The Friendly Tavern no later than one week prior to the reunion. The menu has been sent to class members where contact information is available. CPR class for babysitters offered in St. Joseph Community members are invited to attend a CPR (cardiopulmonary resuscitation) class for babysitters on

Thursday, June 28, from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m., in the Frederick S. Upton Education Center at Lakeland Medical Center, St. Joseph, located at 1234 Napier Avenue. This is an American Heart Association course which is designed to teach the essentials of CPR. Participants will be taught how to save children and infants from choking, cardiac arrest, respiratory arrest, and the proper use of an AED. This three-hour class will allow time to practice the skills needed for proper CPR. Upon completion, a certification card will be issued. Cost is $25 and includes booklet and certification card. Preregistration is required and participation is limited. Participants must complete the Babysitting with Confidence program prior to taking this course. Coloma High School student awarded Comcast Leaders and Achievers Scholarship Morgan Wagner of Coloma High School is one of 175 students who have been awarded scholarships as part of Comcast’s annual Leaders and Achievers Scholarship program in its Greater Chicago Region, which includes Southwest Michigan.
