WILLIAM DONALD NICHOLS Jr. Don’s life began January 27, 1950, in Tyronza, Arkansas. When he was young his parents moved to Michigan, spending most of his childhood growing up in Coloma where he graduated high school. After high school Don proudly served his country in the United States Navy. Don worked at Michigan Fruit Canners (APL) for 37 years in management and then for Heinz in Holland. In his spare time he enjoyed cooking and spending time with his family.

DUSTIN M. ROBERTS Dustin M. Roberts, age 32, of Hartford passed away Friday, July 3, 2020 in Kalamazoo, Michigan.

MELISSA YOUNG LINDSAY The birth of Melissa Young Lindsay was celebrated on April 8, 1955 in Bellefonte, Pennsylvania to Robert and Nancy Young. She was the oldest of what would be seven children, including her Irish twin, Dianne, born just 11 months later.

MEMORIAL SERVICE A memorial service for James Hammond, whom passed away on April 14, 2020, will be held on Saturday, July 18 at the Hope Lutheran Church, Hartford, starting at 11:00 a.m. A luncheon will follow. “Those we love don’t go away. They walk beside us every day unseen, unheard, but always near. So loved, so missed, so very dear.”

OMISSION The following family members were omitted from the obituary for Eugene “Gene” O’Riley on Page 6 of the Tri-City Record July 2, 2020 issue.
