CHOPPERS AND BAGGERS AND METRICS OH MY! Mo-torcycles line the streets of downtown Hartford recently in preparation of the Arrowhead Bar & Grill 9th Annual Scho-larship Run. Organizers planned on a big turnout with perfect weather on tap and a supply of frosty cold beverages coupled with a hearty meal and door prizes waiting for the riders re-turn. The Arrowhead Run for-mally aligned to support the Hartford Public Schools Foun-dation for Quality Education in 2016. “The Foundation is a great group of people to sup-port, plus they have a solid me-chanism already in place to see that funds we raise are distri-buted equitably to our local stu-dents. All we have to do is ride and have some fun,” said Ar-rowhead owner Brian Garland as he worked on the post ride meal. The annual event makes several stops throughout Van Buren County and raises in excess of $1,000 to help a Hart-ford senior on the road to col-lege. (TCR photo by Jon Bisnett)
