The 2018 Berrien County Youth Fair may be history but these Tri-City Area youth are still beaming over the ribbons and awards they earned there photo feature continued from the Front Page

ZACH KUEHL of Watervliet with his horse MSU Honeydew, earned 1st and 2nd for Western Pleasure and Equitation. This is the last year for his horse which is 27 years young. The 8th-grader attending Watervliet Public Schools is the son of Elden and Stacy Kuehl.

Sabrina Klimkiewicz, 17, of Watervliet is a senior attending Watervliet Public Schools. She is shown with her horse Moon. They received 4th place in flags, barrels, and keyhole and a 5th place in poles. She won 5th place overall. The daughter of Jeff and Nicole Klimkiewicz, she also shows pigs, turkeys, and chickens.

RYAN CHISEK, 18, of Watervliet, won Reserve Champion fryer market chickens, Champion woodworking, and Grand Champion overall for his woodworking project. He is the son of Chris and Shelley Chisek.

LEVI POUNDERS, 7, of Coloma loves to show off his award winning pigeon. This is his second year as an exhibitor at the Berrien County Youth Fair. He also entered rabbits, ducks and crafts. Levi, who attends Coloma Elementary School, is the son of Robert & Misty Pounders.

SKYLAR SWETAY, 18 won Reserve Champion for this original picture or design. The 18-year-old attends Watervliet Public Schools. She is the daughter of Heather Swetay. This is her first year showing at the fair as they just recently moved to this area. Her mother was a previous exhibitor in the fair when she was a youth.

KATHLEEN KRIEGER, 15, of Coloma took the Champion ribbon for her original painting for ages 14-20. The junior attending Lake Michigan Catholic High School has been showing since she was five. She also entered photography, woodcrafts, and the rabbit costume division. She is the daughter of Christian and Valerie Krieger.

CELINA KLIMKIEWICZ, 17, received a 2nd place for her market turkey. She is a senior attending Watervliet High School. She also showed pigs and chickens. She is the daughter of Jeff and Nicole Klimkiewicz.
