NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING TO REVIEW A REVISED
SPECIAL ASSESSMENT ROLL
PIPESTONE LAKE SPECIAL ASSESSMENT DISTRICT
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a revised special assessment roll has been prepared and presented to the Township Board of Bainbridge Township, Berrien County, Michigan, for the purpose of construction, improvement and maintenance of private roads in the Pipestone Lake Special Assessment District including, but not limited to, the paving of Nichols Road south of Napier Avenue, and repaving over the paved portion of Nichols Road south of Skibbe Drive, and repaving Hamilton Drive and repaving Skibbe Drive (the “public improvements”).
The Pipestone Lake Special Assessment District shall consist of the following described lots and parcels of land, against which all or aportion of the cost of the Public Improvements shall be specially assessed:

PUBLIC HEARING
TAKE NOTICE that the Township Board of the Township of Bainbridge will hold a public hearing on October 6, 2016, at 6:00 P.M. in the Bainbridge Township Hall located at 7315 Territorial Road, Watervliet, Michigan, for the purpose of reviewing and potentially confirming the revised special assessment roll.
TAKE NOTICE that appearance and protest at the public hearing is required in order to appeal the amount of the revised special assessment to the State Tax Tribunal.
TAKE NOTICE that an owner or party in interest, or his/her agent may appear in person at the hearing to protest the revised special assessment, or may file his/her appearance or protest by letter, on or before the close of the hearing.
TAKE NOTICE that any person objecting to the revised assessment roll is requested to file written objections with the Township Clerk before the close of the hearing.
TAKE NOTICE that an owner or any person having an interest in the real property may file a written appeal of the revised special assessment with the State Tax Tribunal within thirty (30) days after the confirmation of the revised special assessment roll if the owner or person having an interest in the real property protested the special assessment at the hearing held for the purpose of confirming the roll.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT any qualified elector of the City of Coloma, who is not already registered and will be eighteen (18) years of age by election day, may register to vote at the
office of the Coloma City Hall, Berrien County Clerk, any branch office of the Secretary of State, or any designated State Agency during their regular business hours. THE LAST DAY TO REGISTER IS OCTOBER 11, 2016.
Persons with special needs, as defined in the American’s with Disabilities Act shall be supplied with Braille or audio instructions upon request.
