Trunk or Treat in Coloma

By Christina Gelder

Halloween in the Park has been renamed. The City of Coloma is hosting Trunk or Treat in the Park this year. Very similar event to the past several years with a couple new twists.

Taking place this Saturday, October 28, the festivities will begin with the Pumpkin Derby hosted by the Coloma Lion’s Club. The derby runs in front of City Hall with registration at 11:00 a.m. and the race at noon.

Later on, there will be a costume parade starting at the Coloma Fire Station and travelling through town to Baker Park. To join in on the fun, families need to arrive at the fire station before 3:00 p.m. Once at the park there will be food, games, and candy galore.

This is a free, family friendly event that is scheduled rain, snow, or shine.

This event is coordinated by the North Berrien Community Development and sponsored by many local organizations and businesses.
