Coloma Public Library News

Scheduled closure

The library will be closed Saturday, Nov. 2 for computer upgrades. Regular hours will resume Monday, Nov. 4 at 10:00 a.m. Storytime Weekly storytime for toddlers and preschool-aged children is on Tuesdays at 10:30 a.m. Registration is not required to participate in this weekly interactive experience that includes theme books, music, and hands on activity with Miss Alicia. International Games Day The Coloma Public Library is celebrating International Games Day on Saturday, Nov. 9. Bring a friend and stop in to play games such as Dots, Uno, or Fairytale Flux. Games will be available all day from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Book Club The Coloma Public Library Book Club is meeting on Thursday, Nov. 14 at 5:30 p.m. The title to read before the discussion is “Eleanor Oliphant is completely fine” by Gail Honeyman. Depending on demand there may be titles available for check-out at the front desk. The book club regularly meets every other Thursday. New members are always welcome. Local author Rosanne Bittner Immediately following the Book Club meeting on Thursday, Nov. 14 will be a special program with award winning Coloma author Rosanne Bittner to celebrate the release of her newest title “Ride the High Lonesome”. Bittner will be available to discuss her books, answer questions, and sign copies of her works until 7:30 p.m. “Ride the High Lonesome” will be released on November 26.
