PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the Watervliet City Zoning Board of Appeals will conduct a public hearing on Tuesday December 3, 2019 at 6:00 p.m. at the Watervliet City Hall, 158 W. Pleasant St., Watervliet, Michigan. The hearing is called at the request of Freshwater Church for property they are interested in occupying at 115 N. Main St. The property number is: 11-78-0340-0020-00-7. The site is located on the west side of Main St. and north of, and contiguous to the Marathon gas station and is the former Bob’s Hobby Shop. The Zoning Board of Appeals Hearing is specifically mandated and in compliance with Article XII – Off Street Parking and Loading, Section 12.05 -Schedule of Parking Requirements, Sub-Section 10 (f) which states that for Fraternal or Religious Institutions the Board of Appeals shall determine an adequate number of parking spaces to serve persons employed or residing on the premises as well as the visiting public.
