WATERVLIET NORTH SCHOOL ROCK STARS OF THE WEEK… Pictured (from the left) is Aubrey Hayes, third grade student in Mrs. Bohle’s class. She is always happy, hard working and willing to lend a helping hand. Alyssa Brown, fourth grader in Mrs. Holloway’s class who always tries to do her best and helps others when she can. On a side note, Alyssa is working really hard to break the World Record in Reading Count points! Good luck Alyssa. Keith Hiler, fifth grader in Mrs. Law’s room and exhibits great participation in class, always turns in his work and is always polite and respectful. HARTFORD HIGH SCHOOL’S “STUDENTS OF THE WEEK”… for the week of November 7 – 11, pictured (from the left) are: 9th Grade – Mason Summerton, student of Kevin & Sandra Reed; 10th Grade – Kourtney Clemons, student of Erica Shafer; 11th Grade – Cora Wesaw, student of Deanna Brown & Fabian Wesaw Sr.; and 12th Grade – Paul Chappell, student of Mike & Marissa Chappell. To become a “Student of the Week”, students are nominated by teachers or staff for doing something positive. For exam-ple: getting a good grade on tests or homework, doing well in class participation or just being a kind person to another. Selected students will receive a certificate, their picture taken & posted in the HS front lobby showcase for the week and in the Tri-City Record newspaper. At the end of the school year, all Students of the Week names will be entered in a drawing for some cool prizes, treats or gift cards. Congratulations to these “Students of the Week” and keep up the great work!
