CHARTER TOWNSHIP OF COLOMA ZONING BOARD OF APPEALS NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING TO: THE RESIDENTS AND PROPERTY OWNERS OF THE CHARTER TOWNSHIP OF COLOMA, BERRIEN COUNTY, MICHIGAN, AND ANY OTHER INTERESTED PERSONS: PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the Zoning Board of Appeals of the Charter Township of Coloma will conduct a public hearing, concerning the following matter on Thursday January 9, 2020 at 6:00 p.m. at the Coloma Charter Township Hall, 4919 Paw Paw Lake Road, Coloma, Michigan. PLEASE TAKE FURTHER NOTICE that a hearing will be held to consider a request from Daniel Conkin 7881 Lakewood Drive, Coloma, MI 49039. The request is in regard to property code 11-08-4590-0104-00-1 for a variance from the Coloma Township Zoning Ordinance, Section 7.01 Required Setbacks and Section 6.05 Increasing a Non-Conforming Use. The owner wishes to have a variance from the side yard setback requirement. He wishes to erect a second story structure closer than 10 feet to the side setback line, thereby increasing a non-conforming use.
