WATERVLIET SOUTH SCHOOL CHARACTER AWARDS… At South Elementary they are working on putting their South School pledge into action each day. For November and December they are focusing on learning about and being trustworthy. The “Trustworthiness” awards for December 20, 2016 were presented to: (from the left) Nathan Naughton, Y5 student in Mrs. Wendt’s room; Kenadi Scott, Kindergarten student in Mrs. Smith’s room; Deven Tavolacci, 1st Grade student in Mrs. Melton’s room, Gabriella Guthrie, 2nd Grade student in Mrs. Zuniga’s room. Little Panthers… small but mighty!

WATERVLIET NORTH SCHOOL ROCK STARS OF THE WEEK… pictured (from the left) Isabella Bul-tema, student in Mr. Babcock’s 3rd grade class; Ellie Wildeman, student in Mrs. Graffenius’ 4th grade class; Makenzie Williams, student in Mrs. Kane’s 5th grade class. All three Rock Stars were nominated this week for always staying on task, doing an excellent job on homework and class work, and most of all they are always willing to help out in class at anytime! Good job to all the Rock Stars! Thanks to Burger King for donating gift certificates.
