Watervliet Pageant Organization is holding an informational meeting on Sunday, Sept. 13 at 11 a.m. for eligible contestants for their 2027 Mr. /Miss Watervliet Scholarship Pageant. The meeting is taking place at Next Door Events, 340 N. Main Street in Watervliet.

 Any young woman interested in running for the title of 2027 Miss Watervliet must be at least 17 years old but not older than 19 as of April 1, 2027, and must reside in the Watervliet School District. Proof of residency is required. The applicant must also have a cumulative GPA of 2.0 or higher.

 Requirements for 2027 Mr. Watervliet applicants are similar with the exception of residency. They must either reside in the Watervliet district or can be a school of choice student at Watervliet High School.
