As we continue to grapple with the COVID-19 pandemic, I have been working with my colleague Diana DeGette (D-CO) and the White House on a piece of bipartisan legislation to help find modern solutions and cures for cancer, Alzheimer’s and other difficult diseases like COVID-19. 21st Century Cures 2.0 will build off of the successes of the original legislation passed in 2015, and will include a provision that would create an Advanced Research Projects Agency for Health (ARPA-H) to authorize the more than $6.5 billion for the agency.
