A SECOND LIFE FOR CARDS…

A SECOND LIFE FOR CARDS… With grandkids, former Paw Paw Lake resident Norman (Russ) Wilhelmsen cut out the images on the Christmas cards they received last year and affixed them to cardboard cut to the shape of a tree. The grandkids were excited to surprise their parents with this gift Christmas Eve.
The Wilhelmsen family lived on the lake until about 2016. Wilhelmsen taught sailing at Camp Watervliet for Girls, worked at the Paper Mill in 1964, and currently practices periodontics in Grand Rapids. He has raced Star class sailboats on PPL since age 7, and in 2022 tied for first place in a small regatta at the age of 76.
