American Legion Post 533 of Hartford hosted their Veterans Day service on Saturday

GREAT ATTENDANCE… American Legion Post 533 of Hartford had a Veterans Day service on Saturday evening. It was a huge success with great attendance. The Hartford Fire Department graciously provided the building and helped set up.

Post Commander Gary Deckard presided over the ceremony, Hartford Township Supervisor and Navy veteran Ron Sefcik was guest speaker. Van Buren County Veteran Service officer, David Kryzcki also spoke. Boy Scout Troop 197 demonstrated proper flag folding and proper flag retirement. Reverend Truelove gave the invocation and his daughter Breanna sang the National Anthem and America the Beautiful. Harding’s Market donated supplies for the refreshments. The Post members were grateful for all involved.
