August is Community Health Worker Appreciation Month

Governor Gretchen Whitmer issued a proclamation declaring the month of August as Community Health Worker Appreciation Month. The governor’s office remains committed to supporting community health care workers, ensuring they can continue to get their jobs done. As such, Community Health Worker Appreciation Month offers the opportunity to uplift and honor health care workers for their vital work for Michiganders across the state.
