Back to school: Watervliet, Coloma, and Hartford prepare for 2025-2026

As summer winds down, the Tri-City Area communities of Watervliet, Coloma, and Hartford are gearing up for the 2025-2026 school year. Classes begin on Monday, Aug. 25, with Watervliet and Coloma school districts starting with half days and Hartford holding a full day. All three districts will be closed on Friday, Aug. 29, offering families a long weekend to ease into the academic routine.
School districts are finalizing preparations for a smooth start. Watervliet families are urged to enroll now, with registration details at www.watervlietps.org to ensure students are ready for the first day.
