Berrien County Health Department provides tick bite prevention tips to bring awareness to Lyme Disease
The Berrien County Health Department provides tick bite prevention tips to community members in recognition of Lyme Disease. Lyme disease is a bacterial infection spread to people through the bite of a blacklegged tick. According to the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services, 81 of Michigan’s 83 counties have a known or potential risk of Lyme disease as of 2024, including Berrien County.
