Michigan State Police (MSP) Niles post troopers responded at approximately 6:15 a.m. on Thursday, Sept. 21, 2023 to an in-progress breaking and entering of a barn located in the 9600 block of North Branch Road in Bainbridge Township. A member of the owner’s family pulled up at the venue and called dispatch after observing a suspicious van on the property.
