BRENDA J. BRYAN

 Brenda J. Bryan, 71, of Dowagiac, passed away Sunday, March 22, 2026 at Corewell Health Lakeland Hospital in St. Joseph.

 Cremation has taken place. A celebration of Brenda’s life will begin at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, April 18 at Crystal Springs Church of God in Benton Harbor, concluding with a service by Pastor Lonnie Truelove at 12:00 noon. Interment of her ashes will take place at Fort Custer National Cemetery in Augusta, Michigan. Donations in memory of Brenda may be made to the family.  Brenda’s life revolved around her kids, grandkids, and her church. She loved working with kids and the youth at church and has been the church clerk for every church she has ever attended. She is currently an active member and icon at Hartford General Baptist Church.

 She is survived by her sons, Lloyd Michael Bryan of Benton Harbor and Joshua J. (Jennifer) Bryan of Dowagiac; grandchildren Rochelle (Andrew Jr.) Cobe of Southport NC, Alexis (Josh) Bryan of Dowagiac, Tyler Bryan (Desiree Coulson) of Niles, Jordan Bryan (Elijah Cobe) Southport, NC and Aiden Bryan of Dowagiac; great-grandchildren Loralie, Andrew III and Rexton Cobe of Southport NC, Willow Bryan, Levi Coulson & Owen Coulson of Niles, Paislee Drew and Oaklynn Taylor Cobe of Southport NC and Heylana Bryan of Dowagiac; brother Lloyd (Linda) Taylor of Coloma.

 In addition to her parents Brenda was preceded in death by her husband Joseph and a brother Billy Taylor.
