Coloma Community Schools hosts their 48th Annual Veterans Day Celebration

THANK YOU FOR YOUR SERVICE… On Friday, Nov. 10, Coloma Community Schools hosted their 48th Annual Veterans Day Celebration. The day starts with Coloma High School Student Council and National Honor Society students serving all of our local veterans and their guests a hot breakfast and coffee prepared by Coloma’s Chartwells Food Service Team. Placemats on the tables were made by Coloma 3rd, 4th and 5th graders along with personalized letters written by Coloma 4th graders provided to every veteran in attendance with the option for the veterans to also have a pen pal with a Coloma student. After breakfast, Coloma Varsity Singers, Coloma band members and Coloma 4th & 5th graders performed a variety of songs to our local veterans. (All veterans are always welcome and if there are any local veterans who would like to be added to the mailing list for next year, please email Sara Ashley, CCS Business Director at sashley@ccs.coloma.org.)
