Coloma Masonic Lodge #162 honors Frederick A. Munchow; 75 year committment

The Grand Lodge of Free and Accepted Masons in the State of Michigan joined the membership of Coloma Lodge #162 in honoring Frederick A. Munchow of Coloma for his 75 years of service to the fraternity.
On hand to present the award was Craig H. Maison, Grand Master of Free and Accepted Masons in Michigan and two Past Grand Masters, W. Don Baugher (1993) and Mark A. Manning (2020) along with representatives from Coloma Lodge and members of the Munchow family.
Munchow joined Coloma Lodge in 1946 and served as its Worshipful Master in 1964. He played a large role in the preparations that marked the 100th anniversary of the Masonic lodge in Coloma.
Coloma Lodge #162, Free and Accepted Masons, was chartered on January 12, 1865 by the Grand Lodge of Michigan. Freemasonry is an institution that has been a major part of community life in America for over two hundred and fifty (250) years. It is America’s largest and oldest fraternity, and one that continues to be an important part of the personal growth and development of men from all walks of life.
