Coloma School Board focuses on successful audit and fall updates from all schools in the district
The regularly scheduled meeting of the Coloma Community School Board was held on Monday, Sept. 14, 2026. Trustee Tandy Ulleg called the meeting to order at 6:00 p.m.
Michael Evard of Yeo and Yeo accounting firm addressed the board virtually and explained the recently completed 2025-2026 audit of Coloma Community Schools. Evard complemented CCS for the stellar audits of the past several years and reported that all compliance requirements have been met by the district.
Sara Ashley, Director of Business Services, reported “as of August 2026, the district has received 0% from the state, but has spent 8%.”
Coloma Elementary off to a good start
Principal Kelley Joe Severin shared that the first two weeks of school have been great. The 3rd annual delayed start for Young Fives and Kindergartners and parents was a positive experience for everyone. Students and parents met for one hour and received a copy of the book, The Kissing Hand.
