Opening day for approximately 130 Coloma teachers and staff took place on Tuesday, Aug. 25, 2026 beginning at 7:00 a.m. Coloma Community Schools employees were greeted by numerous agencies who provided information and goodies to all personnel prior to the opening day breakfast and guest speakers.

Participating agencies on hand to welcome teachers and staff included: Aflac Insurance, Biggby Coffee, Coloma Community Schools Administration, Coloma Public Library, Honor Credit Union, Meemic Insurance/Redman Agency, Modern Woodman Insurance, Tri-City Record, and United Way of Southwest Michigan.
