Wood-fired ceramics, a thoughtfully crafted space, and a dog named Charlie await visitors at Dune Grass Pottery’s studio and gallery, 139 N. Main Street in downtown Watervliet.

Potter Nick Kesler has put his craftsmanship into both the pottery and the space around it. He built the furnishings and displays himself and styled the interior, bringing his creative touch to every part of the studio and gallery.

With an invitation to “Come Play with Clay,” Dune Grass Pottery offers studio access for $20 per day, $50 per week, or $150 per month, providing flexible options for those interested in making time to work with clay.
