In a major step towards preventing the largest tax hike in modern history, the House of Representatives passed H.R.1, the One Big Beautiful Bill Act, with my support last week. Not only does this bill renew the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act, but it also delivers permanent tax relief for middle class families and small business job creators. For example, H.R. 1 reduces taxes for Americans making $30,000 - $80,000 by 15%.
