Dept. of Homeland Security needs to be funded

Last week, the U.S. House again passed legislation to reopen and fund the Department of Homeland Security. This is the final piece of last year’s appropriation legislation that remains unresolved.
Sadly, instead of ensuring the TSA, Coast Guard, FEMA and additional federal agencies under the Department of Homeland Security can operate without disruption, some in Washington are more interested in playing political games.
