First realities

It is difficult not to bear on issues that trouble us. Whether a difficult work situation, a sick child, or worry about something else, we may find ourselves almost unable to escape from our own thoughts. Waking hours are plagued by enslavement to the fear of the worst, and sleeping hours become disturbed by disquieting concern. The issue, whatever it is, has become our “first reality”; we are entrapped.
