The Van Buren Conservation District and Michigan Lakes and Streams Association are excited to announce a grant project to plant 4,900 trees and shrubs around six inland lakes in southwest Michigan. The program is free for landowners, and the trees will be planted by a contractor. This free tree program is a great way to add wildlife habitat, privacy fences, or replace aging trees.
