FUNDS TO BE REQUESTED FROM USDA HOUSING PRESERVATION GRANT (HPG) FOR MARKET ONE’S HOMEOWNER REHABILITATION PROGRAM

Market One is pleased to announce a proposed Homeowner Rehabilitation Program, aimed at providing critical home repair and rehabilitation services for low- and very low-income homeowners in rural Cass and Van Buren Counties. With an initial budget of approximately $600,000, the program seeks to improve housing safety, structural integrity, and energy efficiency. Market One will be applying for grant funding from the USDA Housing Preservation Grant (HPG) to assist in these efforts. Public comments on this proposed program are encouraged and should be submitted by September 3, 2025.  Grant information can be viewed at HERE.
