While at Temple, I took some physical education courses. I signed up for swimming, handball, and then racquetball. Swimming was helpful. Handball was painful, very painful. But racquetball was a winner for me. Much less painful than handball, it could be played at any pace. Getting hit by the ball or by a racquet was no fun, but that only happened occasionally, and it was not like having your whole palm one big bruise, like in handball.
