God calls us to NON-violence

Last week I jotted down reflections about nonviolence. I feel the need to share some of them with you. Our world has seen violence in new and horrific ways. And while we might not get angry about the same incident of violence, there is enough of it levied against such a wide array of people that I know we’ve all found something to get angry about. That anger boils within us. It desires destruction, punishment, and swift justice. Often, these lead us to imagine more violence in our minds, this time against people that “deserve it.”
